What Is Wrestling?

Participants (boys and girls) are grouped by age and weight class struggle one-on-one with an opponent with the goal of pinning their opponent to the mat.

Wrestling Cheer provides a FUN opportunity to build Character, Confidence, Discipline, Sportsmanship, Physical Conditioning, and much more!

Wrestling cheer Walk Up Registration:

October 13th 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Peachtree Ridge Park Football Field

October 20th 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Peachtree Ridge Park Football Field

Wrestling cheer Registration Fees:

Wrestling Cheer uses the same registration portal as Wrestling. Follow the link above or join us in person to complete your registration! Registration is $150 and includes an AAU Athlete Card, cheer pillow, custom wrestling ribbon, and a practice shirt! A cheer uniform from the 2022 Ridge Fall cheer season is required for participation.

Current wrestlers can cheer for a discounted rate of $100(USAW Card is not included).
 

Practices:

Practice begins October 26th at Peachtree Ridge High School starting at 6:00pm. The girls will practice every Wednesday from 6:00-7:00PM

Schedule:

Cheerleaders will be expected to attend all events labeled as Dual for the upcoming season. Most of them are at home and parents are encouraged to attend! The detailed schedule can be found here: https://www.pryaasports.com/wrestling-calendar
